We were the only diners on Easter evening and it was wonderful. Leon was a fantastic server, pleasant, funny and efficient. He made us feel right at home! Saintsation cocktail was delicious, bread was served with whipped gorgonzola cheese and we ordered all of his recommendations. We had the flash fried oysters with brie and crystal-spicy but delicious-as well as the mustard encrusted pork loin and crawfish and goat cheese ravioli. I would go back anytime Leon is working-he was so charming and sweet.

Only been here once but it was good. It's an upscale restaurant tucked away on Fulton next to Harrahs.

I may be biased because I frequently stop in at this as-yet undiscovered jewel in the warehouse district just for the French fries, but I love 7 on Fulton! It's part of a hotel, but the restaurant is totally unique with lots of variety. The bar is in a weird section separated from the full dining area by a half wall, but the servers are always friendly and willing to try and make you a unique drink if you ask. Get Mike to make you his special Banana Martini - no male parts included - or try the Sin Lily ( named for my group) you may not find these on the menu which just adds to the appeal when i brought my girls in before a trip to the Children's Museum we got super friendly and Unrushed service even though they were about to close to change over from lunch to dinner for an upscale or simple experience, 7 has consistently delivered a meal even 3 picky little ones and I could enjoy! My favorite side will always be the french fries, but people rave about the haricot verts which dish will you go and discover? Wi-fi side note is that they may give you an access code if you ask but it's really through the hotel And price is cheaper at lunch but you can get a meal for about 13 bucks if you order the right stuff at dinner time or from the bar

So I came here twice in the same day, apparently 90% of restaurants are closed on Mardi Gras, I didn't get the memo...but that's ok, here's what happened at my first meal... Breakfast: I got the Eggs Fulton, which I thought was great, very innovative, I'm talking about the tomato hollandaise sauce, not that it was served with a crab cake (which was awesome). I really liked the sauce, very tangy, but I think I still prefer the classic better. And up to this point I've never had a fried green tomato, good, but a very overpowering taste, I had to eat it separate. I thought it was a little pricey, but it's a hotel restaurant, I knew what I was getting into. I really liked my server too. He wasn't out of this world amazing, but he got the job done...............5/5 Later that day.... Lunch: This time I was in a group of six and I had a different server...a creepy server...he kept looming over us, but not attending to us. He just stared...and our food took about 30 minutes to arrive which was strange seeing how there were only 2 other tables besides us. The food was great, everyone loved what they got. I got the gumbo and it was full of fresh ingredients. Probably the best shrimp I've ever had, and the burgers my friends' got was really good, a little surprise to us all. This would have been rated higher if it weren't for the creepy server who didn't get our food out on time!.............................3/5 Overall: great food, spotty service

The conference arranged lunch for us at this restaurant....it was closed for general business to accommodate us. We started with a cup of gumbo....perfect roux and spices. The field green salad with a ball of fried goat cheese was pretty much the best salad I've had in a long time. The fried goat cheese was divine We all got the smothered chicken with mashed potatoes for an entree. I usually do not like smothered chicken but this was delicious. The deep fried chicken breasts were tender and covered with the right amount of gravy. For dessert, we were served pecan pie with rum in it. It was pretty much the best pecan pie I've ever had. The restaurant is located inside the Wyndham riverfront hotel and you can enter from either the hotel lobby on Convention Center Blvd. or Fulton street. A great place for business lunch.
